Talisay City, Negros Occidental, was recognized with the Bagani Local Governance Award 2023 as a Seal of Good Local Governance Regional Shortlisted LGU. The award was given by the Department of the Interior and Local Government Negros Occidental and the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental on the occasion of the 32nd Local Government Month 2023 held at the Negros Residences, Bacolod City.

Team Talisay was represented by Sangguniang Panlungsod Secretary Josel Faisan, Executive Assistant Jerome Bagtas, Talisay DILG Officer CLGOO Rex Abello, and LGOO III Noel Jover.
