1,357 Talisay Drivers Receive Fuel Subsidy and Rice Packs at City Public Plaza

The Talisay City Government distributed ₱1,000 cash assistance and 5 kilograms of rice to 1,357 local drivers on June 26 at the city public plaza.

Led by Mayor Atty. Weng Lizares, the distribution is part of the city's fuel subsidy initiative, "Ayuda ni Mayor Weng Para sa Sektor sang Transportasyon."

First launched in March 2026, the four-month program was established to mitigate the impact of rising fuel costs by offsetting the daily operational expenses of local transport workers.
