In a show of solidarity and strategic collaboration, Mayor Atty. Weng Lizares welcomed officials from two vital law enforcement agencies—the Talisay Component City Police Station and the Talisay Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP)—during a courtesy visit held on July 9 at the City Mayor's Office.

The meeting reaffirmed the city's steadfast commitment to peace and order. PLTCOL Salvador Trono Jr., representing the Talisay PNP, expressed confidence in the continuing partnership with the local government, citing shared efforts in crime prevention, patrol visibility, and public safety operations throughout the city.

On the correctional front, JCINSP Kevin G. Bonilla of the BJMP underscored their dedication to maintaining discipline, security, and rehabilitation programs within Talisay’s custodial facilities. Both agencies voiced appreciation for the unwavering support provided by the city administration.

Mayor Lizares, in turn, commended the bravery and diligence of Talisay’s uniformed personnel, recognizing them as the city’s frontline defenders and pillars of community peace.

Also present were City Administrator Atty. Jonathan Ealdama, Assistant City Administrator, Ismael Penado, and Executive Assistant for Peace and Order Jerome Bagtas, highlighting the city’s unified leadership in advancing a shared vision of a safe, secure, and resilient Talisay City.
