TUPAD PAYOUT BENEFITS 200 TALISAY PARENTS | GWAPA NGA PANGHIMANWA, CONG. JAVI PARTNER TO EMPOWER BRIGADA ESKWELA INITIATIVE
City Government of Talisay, Negros Occidental
Mayor Atty. Weng Lizares extends his sincere gratitude to Congressman Javi Benitez for including Talisay City among the key beneficiaries of the DOLE-TUPAD Brigada Eskwela 2026 program. Under this initiative, 200 selected parent-beneficiaries were given meaningful employment opportunities to assist during Brigada Eskwela 2026, working directly at the schools where their children are enrolled.
Over a 10-day work period from July 29 to August 11, each beneficiary earned financial assistance amounting to ₱5,500.00. Funding for the program from DOLE-NIR was efficiently channeled through the City Government of Talisay to support local parent-workers selected from various barangays across the city.
Payout Ceremony Details:
The official payout ceremony took place today, August 28, at the New Talisay Public Market. The event was led by DOLE-TUPAD Coordinators:

- Rafaela Janine Fernandez
- Robin Nicole Fernandez
Key community insights were also shared by speaker Rona Carbadilla during the ceremony.
