The City Government of Talisay, in collaboration with the Office of Congressman Jose Francisco “Kiko” Benitez and the Department of Information and Technology (DICT), is looking for trainees for the DICT Virtual Assistance Technical Training Program. This is an 8-day face-to-face training and 21-day online campaign which includes modules on Web Research and Data Entry, Transcription, Email, and Calendar Scheduling and Chat Support/Help Desk/Technical Support.

1st Himos ni Kulas Festival is about traditions best remembered through the palate of food loving families and friends in Talisay City. Around 19 local food exhibitors shall lead a public display of "heirloom" recipes enjoyed by families over so many years of celebrating birthdates, anniversaries, weddings, festivals, etc.
"Himos" or "Himus" are Hiligaynon terms popularly used for "moving on", "getting ready", "set-up", "prepare", "be up-and-about" or get-going of an activity, an errand or prepare a meal for everyone to feast on.
