MAYOR NEIL Lizares convenes, once again, in a zoom meeting the Talisay Local Inter-Agency Task Force to address and recalibrate the City of Talisay's strategic response to the rapid resurgence in the Covid-19 virus in the City, the Province and the whole country.

MAYOR NEIL LIZARES STATEMENT:This is to inform everyone that the New Talisay City Hall will be closed on April 12 and 13, 2021. This is in line with the recent news that an employee assigned to the Talisay Public Market tested positive for Covid-19. Since the result of the preliminary contact tracing showed that the said employee was able to go to the New Talisay City Hall and made contact with some employees, a thorough disinfection is needed and a stringent contact tracing must be made.

Mayor Neil Lizares once again, sends a friendly reminder to all Talisaynons to stay vigilant as upticks in confirmed cases are reported in some parts of the province and a record high infection of 7,103 was recorded by the DOH yesterday.

Negros Occidental Governor Bong Lacson and Talisay City Mayor Neil Lizares signed a Deed of Usufruct for use of the provincial government property located at Brgy. Zone 12 Poblacion, Talisay City.

The ceremonial signing was held this afternoon at the Provincial Capitol Social Hall in Bacolod City.

Mayor Neil Lizares convenes the Local Inter-Agency Task Force against Covid-19 to recalibrate on the City of Talisay's action plan, given the pending nationwide roll out plan of the vaccine, one year into successfully learning to live with the pandemic.

Mayor Neil Lizares, in collaboration with Palafox Associates team up for the proposed Master Development Plan of the City of Talisay to focus mainly on the proposed tourism and cultural heritage site development framework, as well as the transportation plan and the master plans for identified priority areas such as the new market, flood control including drainage and resettlement, reclamation, Capitol transfer and the envisioned Metro Talisay Green and Intelligent City.
