Negrenses Rejoice as Provincial Solar Streetlights Illuminate Tourism Circumferential Highway in Talisay

The province of Negros Occidental celebrated a momentous occasion as it inaugurated and blessed its new solar-powered streetlights along the Tourism Circumferential Highway (Bacolod-Silay Access Road) in Talisay City. The project, spearheaded by Governor Bong Lacson, was joined by Mayor Neil Lizares and Congressman Kiko Benitez, along with other city officials and guests.

Talisay City Receives Bagani Local Governance Award 2023

Talisay City, Negros Occidental, was recognized with the Bagani Local Governance Award 2023 as a Seal of Good Local Governance Regional Shortlisted LGU. The award was given by the Department of the Interior and Local Government Negros Occidental and the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental on the occasion of the 32nd Local Government Month 2023 held at the Negros Residences, Bacolod City.
